Dermal Fillers can be used to plump lips, sharpen facial features, and enhance facial volume. The aim of fillers is to smooth, lift, contour, and fill. These gel fillers are made of 100% pure hyaluronic acid, which is already naturally occurring in the skin. Hyaluronic acid is a biocompatible and biodegradable gel that’s abundantly available in the skin when you’re young. It can bind up to 1,000x its own weight in water, and it’s the primary reason for your skin’s supple and youthful texture. As you get older, your body’s ability to produce and retain hyaluronic acid is depleted, leading to wrinkled, crepey skin. Fillers contain synthetic hyaluronic acid, so they can restore your skin’s depleting HA reserves and reverse the signs of aging. Should you not be 100% satisfied, hyaluronic acid fillers are also reversible with FDA-approved Hylenex.

The filler chosen will depend on the treatment plan and desired outcome, as discussed with your injector. All syringes come pre-mixed with lidocaine for patient comfort. Areas currently treated by Lady Lagniappe include cheeks, lips, marionette lines, and nasolabial folds.
